Client: UCL Global Engagement
The challenge
UCL wanted to encourage more researchers to apply for international funding opportunities — and clearly demonstrate the value and impact of that funding.
The work
Since 2022, I’ve written a series of human-centred case studies highlighting researchers’ real experiences of progressing their work internationally with UCL funding.
The result
Applications for funding increased by 50% after case studies were regularly published.
The work received very positive feedback from internal and external audiences, leading to ongoing commissions — including extended profile pieces to support high-profile international delegation visits.

The challenge

The work
After initially working with marketing teams on wider content, I was invited to profile staff members for recruitment websites — creating story-led case studies that highlighted real career progression and personal development.
