My process

When we start working together, we’ll start with a kick-off video call so I can understand your brief, your goals and what success looks like to you. It’s basically a (virtual) chat over a (real!) coffee, and it’s a hugely beneficial way for us to figure out how to work together.

The next steps depend on the project, but I’ll put a clear plan together to outline what needs to be done, the time scale and the exact deliverables. For a lot of copywriting projects, I’ll usually suggest that I interview subject specialists. This is a great way to pull out key messages, get to the heart of a subject and gather engaging quotes.

Then I’ll get stuck into the writing and deliver the copy according to the timescales we’ve agreed on. I always include two rounds of edits to ensure you’re totally happy with every word. I’m proud that most of my regular clients don’t need many edits after my first submission.
