Case study: Leipzig Tourism – website and blog copy
I have travelled extensively as a travel writer, and have a well-honed process of learning all I can about a destination so that I can share information with others. Through this, I have written five city guide books (Carl Goes series, Drake Shake Publishing) – and one of the destinations was Leipzig. This experience meant I had good knowledge and experience to work with Leipzig’s tourist authority, Leipzig Region.
Through my research and time spent in Leipzig, I was able to develop dozens of content ideas. A lot of the information I gathered showed off different sides of the city, including co-working spaces and good spots for digital nomads, little-known corners of creativity, and experiences people could get involved in that went a little off the beaten track.
As a result, I wrote a series of blogs and web pages for Leipzig Region. This increased the knowledge bank on their website, and significantly increased the English content on the website, helping them to reach a new market.
